🇩🇪 Hallo und Willkommen!

Our American family of five, moved to Germany in 2018 and bought our German dream home in 2021.

Originally we wanted to host a TLA but when the house renovations took longer than expected and then war in Ukraine broke out, we knew it was no longer up to us when the TLA would start.

After housing a sweet Ukrainian family in the apartment for three and a half years, they were ready to move on to the next place that better fit their growing family and new jobs in Germany. This left us the opportunity to re-embrace our initial hopes and desires of housing military members and civilian contractors to and from the country. So Nox TLA opened January 2026.

As ex-pats ourselves, we know how daunting moving to a brand new country can be on oneself or their family. And as what some might call "life-ers", we can offer comfort and wisdom to those who are struggling to live here. 

Our hope is to not just be another TLA in the area. But rather a home in which offers open arms, a warm meal, and a family ready to serve you. We know everyone's experience living in Germany can be both delightful and challenging. Our wish is to care for you in both experiences. Our desire is that your time spent at Nox TLA is a positive one. 

A little more about us, we have three young boys and an active little lady labradoodle. We enjoy hiking, swimming, bike rides, board games, legos, reading, video games, walks in the neighborhood, and eating yummy food. We've been blessed to get to travel and be connected to our life line community here.
